Agency client, The California Endowment was looking to increase young minority voter registration and turnout in California for the November 2018 elections.
I developed a campaign utilizing the power of social media to encourage young Californians to share their pledge to vote by visiting one of our #VOTA2018 tour stops or simply posting their own voting picture using the hashtag: #Vota2018, #RiseAndVote & #BlackAndVote.
During the week long campaign all pictures posted with hashtag were visible live in real time, at the event sites, on the event website and on digital billboards in six markets across California. Campaign earned over 3.5 million impressions and concluded with a #VOTA2018 mosaic billboard composed of all images posted during the campaign.
